Web Reservations Account FAQS

Q: Do I need an Account?
A: All guests have the ability to browse for events, facilities and space. If you want to request space, then you will need to be an Authenticated User and also have a Web User Account for the Reservations system.

Q: What is an Authenticated User?
A:  An Authenticated User has either a Penn State Access Account or a Friends of Penn State Account.

Q: How do I create a Friends of Penn State Account?
A: Visit https://fps.psu.edu to create a Friends of Penn State Account. Your Friends of Penn State Account will be approved immediately. 

Q: How do I create a Web User Account for the Reservations system?
A: After obtaining Authenticated user status, click on My Account - Create an Account and fill in the form.

Q: How long will it be before my Web User Account is approved or denied?
A: Please allow 1-2 business days for account approval/denial. Please check back after 1-2 days to see if your Login to the site works. Q: How do I Log in to My Account?
A: My Account - Log In. If your account is active, then you will be presented with the Penn State WebAccess log in screen. After a successful log in you will be signed in to the Reservations Welcome Page. Your name will be displayed on the top right of the Menu Bar. If you are already authenticated through Penn State WebAccess, then you will be automatically signed in to the Reservations Welcome Page after selecting the My Account - Log In menu item.
